Boarding Arrangements
- The Pilot Boarding Area is Located one mile east of the BS Buoy.
- Contact the Brownsville Harbormaster on channel 16 or 12 two hrs. prior to arrival at pilot boarding area. The Harbormaster will inform vessel of pilot ladder arrangement and pilot boarding time.
Note: The pilot station is not continuously manned
Pilot Boats:
- Pilot VI is 27ft. long with an red flotation collar and white superstructure. The word PILOT is printed on the superstructure with red lettering.( Will attach picture of boat)
- Pilot VII is 51ft. long with a orange hull and white superstructure. The word PILOT is printed on the superstructure with orange lettering. (Will attach picture of boat)
